Take Your 12 Bar Blues Riff To The Next Level!
In this lesson we are going to dress up the basic 12 bar blues riff by adding in a few new notes. Simple ideas like the ones presented in this lesson can really help make your blues playing stand out from average run of the mill blues riffs. If you haven’t learned the Standard 12 Bar Blues Riff yet you might want to go back and review that lesson.
The blues riff in this lesson is still in the key of E blues, but we have added a few notes in to change up the sound a bit. Take the ideas presented in this lesson and use them to try and come up with your own new versions of the basic 12 bar blues riff.
