The sound quality is good but I have heard other things out there that I like better for about the same price. The really cool thing is that you get 11 different delay modes with this thing. That versatility is really an attractive feature.

The build quality on the DD-20 is great! It can take pretty much any abuse that you want to dish out.

Ease of Use - 7.5/10
I like to just pull a new pedal out of the box, turn a few knobs and go. This pedal wasn’t too hard to figure out but I definitely had to pull the users manual out a few time to see what the heck was going on. There are a lot of cool semi-hidden features that I would have never known about if I had not read the manual.
Pros
• Boss build quality
• Lots of different delay options
• Tap tempo
Cons
• Can be a bit difficult to learn at first
• No power supply included
• Takes up a lot of space on the pedalboard
Overall Rating - 8/10
Overall the DD-20 is a pretty good sounding delay pedal, but the interface is just a little cumbersome. If you want something that you can just plug into and get a great delay tone you might find that this pedal is not for you. If you want a versatile delay pedal, and don’t mind studying a bit, the DD-20 may be a good option for you.
